The Saint's Way Challenge

Cheque Presentation

A tremendous effort from our team of runners and walkers in our Cornwall office who recently completed the Saint’s Way Challenge raising a massive £2,550 in aid of CHICKS Country Holidays for Inner City Kids.

The Saint’s Way is the probable route of the ancient pilgrims coming across from Ireland and making their way to France and Spain.

Day 1 Started with our team of 4 setting off from sunny Padstow covering the multi-terrain through valleys, woodlands, pastures, moors and villages, arriving in Fowey to refreshments kindly provided by the Readymoney Beach Shop, before soaking the tired legs in the ocean.

Day 2- was slightly more painful. With aching limbs and blisters not deterring the Totus Pilgrims as they set off from Readymoney Beach to complete this brutal return leg back to Padstow.

Day 1 – Antony Martin, Ben Douglas, Joe Hughes & Jo Collins

Day 2 – Antony Martin, Jo Collins, Gavin Pedley & Ryan Harper

Our lone walker Andy O’Donnell put in a fantastic effort walking the route from Padstow to Fowey over the 2 days.

We would like to say a special thank you to Midas Group LtdNansledan Team for their very kind donation resulting from the 5 a-side tournament that they arranged to specifically raise funds for Totus. Our suppliers, families, friends and colleagues all dug deep to support this wonderful charity that provides free respite breaks for disadvantaged children in Cornwall. It gives children that live in poverty, suffer abuse, are young carers or have lost parents the chance to have fun, try new things and form positive childhood memories. More than anything, it gives them the chance to just be children.
